About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and support warehouse associates in receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control
  • Assign and monitor work for productivity, accuracy, safety, and quality compliance
  • Load orders according to appropriate doors and trailers
  • Research shipping and receiving discrepancies
  • Train new and existing associates on Standard Operating Procedures, including shipping, receiving, picking, and quality control
  • Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and feedback
  • Assist with problem-solving and escalate operational issues to the Supervisor or Manager
  • Ensure proper equipment and PPE use and adherence to safety policies
  • Perform quality and inventory checks to minimize errors and damages
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain communication between shifts and departments for smooth handoffs and workflow

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1 year of experience working in a logistics, distribution, or relevant environment
  • 2–3 years of forklift experience
  • Current or prior MHE certification
  • Fluent in English, oral and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
  • Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work extensive or staggered hours for multi-shift access
  • Ability to perform occasional standing, walking, and lifting, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
  • Minimal domestic and international travel may be required
