About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations of the customs administration team
- Lead and optimize work processes, including implementation of best practices
- Coordinate daily tasks with team members
- Manage delivery of Service Level Agreements within the managed service area
- Create and maintain effective cooperation with other teams within the Customs department, other departments, and branches
- Act as a Point of Contact for issues, escalations, and operational support
- Manage team performance and efficiency based on relevant analyses, KPIs, and reports
- Create and maintain process documentation
- Participate in budget planning and actively manage the P&L to ensure financial performance and target achievement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar position
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Higher education, preferably in logistics, customs, management, or a related field
- Knowledge of customs regulations and the transportation, shipping, and logistics (TSL) industry
- Knowledge of English at a minimum B2/C1 level
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proactive use of AI-powered tools and digital solutions to improve productivity, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency is encouraged
- Ability to effectively engage, motivate, and develop direct reports
- Supporting the professional development of team members
- Ability to deliver company goals and drive operational excellence
- Strong understanding of the transportation and logistics industry, customs operations, and financial management of an operational team
- Good understanding of change management principles and practices
