About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
  • Maintain yard flow and inventory for operations
  • Intake, compile, and maintain bills of lading (BOLs) and records accurately and timely
  • Direct truck drivers to ensure trailers are placed in the correct yard location
  • Promote efficiency through optimal trailer placement
  • Ensure shipping paperwork matches the computer system
  • Validate paperwork and trailer markings
  • Provide proper paperwork to truck drivers
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the computer system
  • Maintain safety requirements
  • Inspect truck cargo and equipment as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and secure office area
  • Manage and record daily production reports and yard checks in cooperation with drivers and client representatives
  • Perform other assigned projects and duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must wear all site-required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for a 12-hour shift with or without accommodation
  • May be required to work overtime
  • Ability to follow SOP and safety guidelines
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and high-quality work
