About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and deliver required training courses for DSV and client programs
  • Support quality control, work measurement, logistics procedures, safety/HR, and work instructions training
  • Develop and conduct role-specific competency training in systems and leadership development
  • Orient new associates and provide refresher training for current associates
  • Monitor, measure, and report staff training and development plans and achievements
  • Facilitate shift training on operations, quality, standards, and procedures
  • Implement and deliver on-the-job training programs to improve site performance
  • Conduct and supervise employee training and development programs
  • Enter and maintain training information in the database and training files
  • Ensure quality and training programs meet regulatory, DSV, client, ISO, and 5-Star requirements
  • Maintain training equipment, materials, forms, orientation packets, and safety packets
  • Verify equipment-operator certifications and equipment validations before operation
  • Issue certification cards, ID badges, and safety cards to associates
  • Answer associate questions and evaluate skill levels to identify and address training gaps
  • Coordinate with management and operations to meet business needs
  • Maintain accurate staffing changes and associate records
  • Communicate all relevant information to the manager
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the Management Team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience working in warehousing and/or logistics preferred
  • 1 year clerical experience
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • English reading, writing, and verbal skills
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Intermediate mathematical skills
  • Effective communication skills across management and entry-level team members
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience developing and implementing training programs
  • Knowledge of inventory management procedures, warehousing terminology, and best practices
  • Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures during warmer and colder months
  • Ability to bend occasionally; walk and stand frequently; sit constantly
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 11–20 pounds and reach above shoulder, squat, or kneel
  • Ability to work overtime and flexibly change days and hours for training purposes
  • Ability to complete work with limited supervision
