About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Organize and facilitate site training activities supporting DSV’s training strategy
  • Provide effective on-the-job training and coaching
  • Observe and evaluate associates to measure progress and training effectiveness
  • Submit completed training plans documenting dates and areas trained
  • Attend staff and other meetings as required by leadership
  • Provide refresher training at leadership’s request
  • Perform warehouse duties when not conducting training
  • Prepare and execute training sessions using established materials and timelines
  • Provide supervisors and managers with feedback and training progress based on trainee needs
  • Document and track associate training
  • Train staff on material handling equipment for general training and certification purposes
  • Perform other assigned duties
  • Work mandatory or voluntary overtime as dictated by business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • English reading, writing, and verbal skills
  • Previous experience working in a logistics, distribution, or relevant environment
  • Current or prior experience using WMS
  • Current or prior experience using RF Scanner
  • Working knowledge of field operations and/or training principles
  • Software skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications
  • Verbal and written communication skills to communicate with various audiences and provide employee instruction
  • Presentation skills to facilitate training or deliver informational sessions
  • Time management and organizational skills to manage multiple processes and deadlines
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and act as a knowledge resource
  • Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures
  • Ability to perform the stated physical demands, including walking, standing, sitting, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 11–20 pounds
  • Spanish bilingual skills preferred
