About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers
  • Manage shipping documents and records
  • Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, including part numbers, quantities, and material condition
  • Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts at the datacenter
  • Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems
  • Oversee and perform server rack placement on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices
  • Oversee and perform population of electronic components and cabling installation into server racks using diagrams and schematics
  • Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
  • Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
  • Oversee and perform cleanup activities to maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
  • Interact with customers and stakeholders at the datacenter
  • Delegate and coach team members
  • Travel from the employee's home site to support the project

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Critical thinking abilities and strong analytical skills
  • Experience with computers
  • Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
  • Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
  • Ability to make confident decisions based on information and data
  • Ability to meet production goals accurately and efficiently
  • Flexibility and willingness to cross-train in multiple departments within the datacenter
  • Effective delegation and coaching skills
  • Ability to push, pull and lift frequently throughout the workday
