About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight from vehicles and containers
- Perform quality checks on freight, including part numbers, quantities, and material condition
- Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts
- Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems
- Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy
- Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks using diagrams and schematics
- Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
- Operate material handling equipment
- Perform cleanup activities to maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
- Provide effective material orders, customer service, inventory management, and customer material movement support
- Assemble and install servers and electronic components
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma
- 1–3 years of working experience
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Critical thinking and good analytical skills
- Experience with computers
- Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
- Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
- Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
- Ability to be flexible and cross-train in multiple departments within the datacenter
