About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide and maintain effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management
Handle customer material movement requests
Assemble and install servers and electronic components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight
Manage shipping documents and records
Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight
Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts
Process return shipments of electronic components using warehouse management systems
Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices
Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks using diagrams and schematics
Install rack hardware
Operate material handling equipment
Oversee and perform cleanup activities while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
Adhere daily to safety and process procedures
Support flexibility and cross-training across datacenter departments
Delegate and coach team members
Interact with customers and stakeholders on site and build positive working relationships
Make informed decisions to meet production goals accurately and efficiently

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of related experience
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Critical thinking and strong analytical skills
Experience with computers
Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Must pass required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
Ability to operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, laser measuring devices, diagrams, and schematics
