About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight, including shipping documents and records
  • Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight for accurate part numbers, quantities and pristine condition
  • Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts at the datacenter
  • Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems
  • Oversee and perform placement of server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices
  • Oversee and perform population of electronic components and installation of cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics
  • Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools
  • Operate material handling equipment
  • Perform and oversee cleanup activities to ensure safety, cleanliness and adherence to 5S standards
  • Provide effective material orders, customer service, inventory management and material movement support
  • Delegate and coach team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Critical thinking abilities and strong analytical skills
  • Experience with computers
  • Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
  • Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
  • Ability to push, pull and lift frequently throughout the workday
  • Ability to flexibly cross-train in multiple departments within the datacenter
  • Effective delegation and coaching skills
  • Ability to operate straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools and measuring devices
  • Ability to read diagrams and schematics
