About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive professional services revenue within assigned areas of focus
- Sell professional services to new and existing enterprise insurance customers
- Own professional services revenue targets and meet or exceed goals
- Support and develop services sales team members through coaching, deal guidance, and best-practice sharing
- Position current service offerings effectively in the P&C market and provide customer feedback to shape the portfolio
- Partner with software sales account teams to bring services into deals early and align account strategy
- Work with Tier 1 SI alliance partners to identify co-sell opportunities and grow partner-influenced pipeline
- Generate and grow pipeline through defined offerings, customer-facing teams, partner channels, and existing-customer expansion
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure deals are accurately scoped, appropriately priced, and positioned for successful delivery
- Work with sales operations on reporting and forecasting for services bookings and revenue
- Own strategic pursuits from early engagement through close
- Contribute customer and partner perspectives to go-to-market planning
- Refine sales plays, proposal templates, and enablement materials for consistent services selling
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 12+ years of progressive experience in P&C insurance enterprise services sales and architecture, solution design, or technical leadership roles
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing technical teams
- Demonstrated experience designing and governing large-scale, enterprise, cloud-based software solutions
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline preferred
- Experience within the insurance or financial services software domain preferred
- Experience working in a global insurance software sales organization preferred
- Deep understanding of selling methodologies, tooling and processes
- Deep expertise in insurance P&C enterprise solution architecture and distributed systems design
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS platforms, and integration technologies
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop senior technical professionals
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into architectural direction
- Strong governance mindset balanced with pragmatism and delivery focus
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to influence without direct authority across functions and geographies
- Sound judgment in assessing architectural trade-offs, risks, and impacts
