About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide RNs the opportunity to attend, or continue attending, an accredited school of nurse anesthesia

- Complete a 36-month commitment upon graduation from CRNA school
- Convert to a CRNA position at Duke upon commencement of work as a CRNA
- Work in a hospital setting as a CRNA after completing the program
Requirements
What you’ll need- BSN is required
- Must be currently enrolled in a Master's degree program from a school of nurse anesthesia approved by the State Accrediting Agency and the Council on Accreditation of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
- At least 2 years of critical care experience to be accepted into the program
- Must have current RN licensure
- RN's must apply and be accepted into this program
Benefits
Comp & perks- $45,000 lump sum payment to the SRNA while in school in return for a 36-month commitment upon graduation from CRNA school
- $60,000 commitment bonus paid in $10,000 installments every 6 months within 3 years upon starting employment/converting to a CRNA position at Duke
- $15,000 annual stipend for 1.0 FTE CRNAs working in a hospital setting, prorated for less than 1.0 FTE, paid monthly based on FTE status
- $2,500 annual CME allowance for 1.0 FTEs, prorated for those working less
- $8,000 relocation budget for CRNAs who reside and relocate 50 miles or more to live near the Duke facility
