About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and direct Infusion services across one or several locations.
- Schedule work and coordinate staffing resources and schedules.
- Track productivity and quality outcomes.
- Address issues with staff and patients.
- Participate in hiring, orientation, training, appraisals, coaching, counseling, and discipline of staff.
- Develop, implement, and administer department activities to ensure quality, efficiency, access, work safety, and a positive patient experience.
- Communicate job expectations and approve timecards and staff time-off requests.
- Communicate with Duly physicians and leadership about services and technology updates.
- Maintain department files and records according to Duly guidelines.
- Attend monthly department meetings.
- Provide educational, developmental, and ongoing training opportunities for staff.
- Oversee staff competency in appropriate positions.
- Support acquisitions, new-site development, and startup activities.
- Plan for acquisition, alignment, and engagement of human resources.
- Promote teamwork and alignment with department and organizational goals.
- Support clinical programs and student development.
- Maintain an environment that provides the best patient care.
- Address improvement areas identified through patient feedback and interdepartmental input.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.A. in Nursing
- Must be OCN certified.
- Knowledge of OSHA, HIPPA and employment legislation.
- Prefer a minimum of five years experience as an Infusion Nurse with two years of managerial experience.
- Demonstrates excellence in customer service and satisfaction for internal and external customers.
