About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs, and collecting health history
  • Support physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes, and other first aid procedures
  • Assist with immunizations or injections if certified
  • Assist patients with prescription requests, pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, charting, and filing
  • Conduct onsite lab testing, including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests
  • Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms
  • Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values
  • Travel to other local clinics may be required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required
  • Active medical assistant certification may be required through AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, or AAMA for certain clinical specialties
  • CPR certification or willingness to become certified upon hire required
  • May require phlebotomy certification within 90 days of hire
  • Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT, or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care
  • Prior experience using an electronic medical record preferred
