About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Make high-volume outbound phone calls to fulfill patient needs over the phone.
- Provide patient scheduling and transportation assistance.
- Acknowledge and welcome patients and visitors.
- Set the tone for a positive experience.
- Verify patient information and document it in the Electronic Health Record (EPIC).
- Review schedules and pre-screen patients based on departmental protocol.
- Monitor schedules daily, ensuring all open slots are filled on the same day.
- Monitor patient scheduling reports daily.
- Review the Daily Appointment Report and prepare charts as appropriate.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- Three years of patient/client-facing experience
- Demonstrates excellence in customer service and satisfaction levels for internal and external customers.
- Demonstrates personal integrity, honesty, and sincerity; trusted to do the right thing.
- Performs core responsibilities efficiently and effectively within organization policies, procedures, and external governmental agency requirements.
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
- Ability to travel to the Naperville clinic as needed.
