About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a trusted advisor on Dun & Bradstreet solutions by developing strong, positive relationships with an established client portfolio
- Maintain revenue through successful renewal of existing business and expand revenue through upselling and cross-selling
- Own negotiation, contracting, and approval processes through successful sales outcomes
- Navigate complex deal management and negotiations involving multiple decision makers, products, or funding sources
- Perform account planning for assigned accounts and coordinate with internal sales resources
- Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline to meet annual quota objectives
- Maintain accurate data in SFDC to support territory management, account planning, and forecasting
- Collaborate with Client Success and Marketing to increase retention through business reviews and win-back campaigns
- Partner with pre-sales support resources to prepare compelling client proposals and recommendations
- Apply broad professional expertise and knowledge
- Complete required D&B certifications
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Sell Dun & Bradstreet's business decisioning data and analytics solutions and services to existing clients
- Develop or expand business within high-value accounts
- Identify new contacts, deepen current relationships, and generate new business by identifying client needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree: Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- 12–15 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 12 years prior experience in an enterprise level SaaS, consulting or services sales role
- Impressive track record of closing sales, winning clients, managing client relationships of 4–6 high-value accounts and attaining or exceeding annual quota(s)
- Ability to rapidly assess client environments from a business process, organizational and technological perspective, and effectively prioritize opportunities for growth
- Demonstrable track record in managing complex strategic sales and managing multiple senior stakeholders
- Ability to exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
- Highly articulate with excellent business communication, verbal and written, and presentation skills suitable for a global corporate environment
- Excellent industry-leading sales methodology, Salesforce.com, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word skills
- Ownership mindset, problem-solving ability, curiosity, proactive approach, and ability to collaborate and connect with people and teams
- Continuous growth mindset and willingness to broaden competencies through courses and programs
- Expected to travel onsite to customers at least 40% of the time
- Complete required D&B certifications
