About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set and own the enterprise marketing operations and MarTech strategy, including the marketing technology roadmap, platform selection, and rationalization of the stack
  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning across marketing operations
  • Own strategic lead management end to end, including nurture strategy, lead scoring, routing rules, lead lifecycle processes, funnel stages, and campaign tracking
  • Enable Sales on how leads are handled and worked, partnering with Marketing Analytics, Revenue Operations, and Sales stakeholders to align definitions and reporting
  • Own a structured partnership with Sales on lead quality through a continuous feedback loop
  • Build and own Marketing AI Ops, including AI orchestration systems, data-source connections, and governed knowledge bases
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics to operationalize MB&C's multi-touch attribution framework
  • Own marketing data governance, including policy frameworks, data standards, data quality, tracking requirements, and operational guardrails
  • Establish and enforce operating standards across campaign intake, governance, SLAs, workflows, documentation, dashboards, and Asana-based work management
  • Serve as the central point for cross-functional campaign planning and delivery from brief through post-campaign optimization
  • Partner with MB&C colleagues, Operating Units, Product, Technology, Sales, and Finance to streamline handoffs and resolve competing priorities
  • Own vendor and contract-resource relationships, including scoping, onboarding, service levels, performance standards, and contingent capacity
  • Manage, build, and lead a strong global Marketing Operations team, coaching and developing team members and closing talent gaps

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
  • 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in B2B marketing operations, working directly on an enterprise marketing technology stack
  • 5+ years of direct people management experience, including managing managers and building teams of 10+ people
  • Experience managing distributed and global teams
  • Demonstrated ability to design and scale operations organizations, including structuring teams and managing through ambiguity
  • Strong cross-functional influence across Marketing, Product, Technology, Sales, and business partners
  • Deep expertise in campaign operations, marketing automation, and analytics enablement
  • Strong point of view on how modern marketing teams should collaborate, document strategy, and apply technology
  • Demonstrated experience building AI orchestration and automation into marketing workflows, including governance, knowledge bases, and connected data sources
  • Hands-on ownership of data governance policy and standards in partnership with legal, privacy, and technology teams
  • Strong understanding of marketing investment, budget management, and ROI measurement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
  • Where applicable, fluency in English and languages relevant to the working market
  • Ability to sit, speak and operate telephone and/or computer for long periods of time
  • Ability to handle pressure, stressful conditions, and conflict resolution
  • Ability to work day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed
  • Regular attendance in the office
