About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead residential window and door installation projects in Anchorage and support remote Alaska regions as needed
- Manage the installation life cycle from technical measure through project completion
- Measure window and door openings and assess site conditions
- Build labour estimates, scopes of work, installation methods, and material requirements
- Complete Installation Field Checklist forms and verify project information
- Manage installations, subcontractor direction, and job-level financial decisions
- Conduct job site visits and provide hands-on support to installation crews
- Coach new crew leads and installers
- Monitor completion, quality, schedules, and homeowner satisfaction
- Verify payment upon project completion
- Educate homeowners about installation processes and expectations
- Respond to concerns, de-escalate difficult situations, and coordinate solutions
- Provide crew coaching, training, development, and operational support
- Meet with Operations and Project Management leaders regarding installer performance and business needs
- Schedule technician measure appointments on a rotational basis
- Travel to remote Alaska regions to support installation operations
- Improve installation processes, operational efficiency, and consistency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and full ownership of every project
- Accurate measurement of window and door openings within required timeframes
- Ability to assess site conditions, confirm specifications, and identify installation risks
- Ability to build labour estimates, scopes of work, installation methods, and material requirements
- Knowledge of company policies, construction requirements, manufacturing standards, and financial objectives
- Ability to manage subcontractors and make job-level financial decisions
- Ability to determine project complexity, workflow, and skills required for installation
- Ability to conduct job site visits and provide hands-on crew support
- Ability to coach crew leads and installers
- Ability to monitor completion, installation quality, schedules, and homeowner satisfaction
- Ability to educate homeowners and resolve difficult customer situations
- Ability to diagnose service and installation issues, identify root causes, and coordinate solutions
- Ability to provide coaching, training, development, and day-to-day crew support
- Ability to identify training gaps and coordinate performance support
- Availability Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with support availability between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM when needed
- Ability to travel to remote Alaska regions when required
