About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver post-sale technical services at customer sites
- Install, maintain, and repair organization and third-party products and services
- Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that may improve performance
- Develop commissioning plans and perform advanced system development and troubleshooting
- Start up small-range plants
- Contribute to project execution from initial kick-off through the entire warranty period
- Engage with project stakeholders to achieve efficient completion
- Provide feedback for continuous improvement
- Coordinate activities of other field technicians and facilitate work, without supervisory responsibility
- Propose process improvements
- Interface with project managers and project engineers to resolve issues
- Create travel itineraries using DuPont Concur Travel
- Manage travel expenses according to DuPont travel guidelines
- Complete service trip reports using PC and MS365 applications
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic understanding of process controls and control systems
- Understanding of basic operation of membrane filtration equipment
- Ability to read and understand BOMs and packing lists
- Ability to read and understand drawings including P&IDs, electrical and single lines
- Compliance with DuPont Safety guidelines and Site Safety reporting
- Simple mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Basic PLC troubleshooting skills including digital and analog loops
- Understanding of basic hydraulics, pumping, and chemical systems
- Understanding of process instruments (turbidity, flow, pH, etc.)
- Excellent customer-facing skills with ability to work independently
- Ability to travel 95% of the time, including some weekend work
