About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance activities on manufacturing and process equipment
  • Perform maintenance involving fluid power, pneumatics, PLCs, mechanical and electrical systems
  • Work with scheduling and planning software
  • Coordinate troubleshooting efforts
  • Implement improvements with operations and engineers to support day-to-day site operations
  • Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical machines and process equipment
  • Analyze and resolve technical problems throughout the site
  • Utilize computer software programs to troubleshoot
  • Operate a mechanical lift
  • Support 24/7 operations through on-call coverage

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent is required
  • A 2-year technical/vocational degree in a related field is strongly preferred
  • Minimum of four (4) years relevant professional work or military experience is preferred
  • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend documents in English
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license required
  • Willingness and ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, hardhats, and steel-toed shoes
  • Ability to stand, walk up and down stairs, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
  • Ability to participate as an on-call resource for an average of 5 weeks a year to support 24/7 operations
  • Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship/support available
