About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and deploy DuPont’s global manufacturing quality excellence strategy across businesses and manufacturing sites
- Partner with Business Quality Leaders, Business Operational Excellence Directors, Integrated Operations Leaders, and Manufacturing, Engineering, Digital, Automation, and IT leaders to improve end-to-end SQDIP performance
- Develop and continuously improve global quality standards, toolkits, playbooks, training, and communities of practice
- Leverage and integrate artificial intelligence to develop and improve quality management approaches and techniques
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business and site leaders by facilitating Kaizen events, problem-solving workshops, and transformation initiatives
- Establish quality performance metrics, analytics, and single sources of truth enabling data-driven decisions from the plant floor to senior leadership
- Integrate quality excellence practices into the DuPont Business System to create a consistent enterprise approach
- Build organizational capability and foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer-focused execution
- Lead a small global team responsible for developing and deploying quality standards, tools, playbooks, metrics, and capability-building programs
- Report to the Vice President, Enterprise Excellence and partner with business quality, operational excellence, integrated operations, and functional leaders
- Influence quality performance across multiple global businesses and sites
- Develop quality leaders and practitioners through coaching, training, and communities of practice
- Deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and cost
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, supply chain, operations, or operational excellence, including significant exposure to plant operations
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise or business-level quality, manufacturing, or operational excellence transformation
- Experience partnering with Business Quality, operations, and functional leaders to improve customer service, reliability, and operational performance
- Proven ability to influence across a global, matrixed organization and lead through others without relying solely on direct authority
- Experience leading and developing high-performing technical or subject matter expert teams
- Deep expertise in quality management systems, Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, Kaizen, structured problem solving, and operational excellence methodologies
- Experience deploying business systems such as the DuPont Business System, Danaher Business System, Toyota Production System, Honeywell Operating System, or similar frameworks
- Strong track record of using data, performance metrics, and operational insights to identify losses, prioritize action, and sustain results
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification preferred
- Strategic thinker who uses data, customer insights, business priorities, and diverse perspectives to shape quality strategy and make sound, timely decisions
- Results-oriented leader who translates strategy into clear priorities, builds accountability, simplifies work, and removes barriers to execution
- Collaborative influencer who builds strong relationships across business, site, and functional teams and leads effectively in a global, matrixed environment
