About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Put category strategy into action for assigned spend and design local or regional sourcing approaches where needed
  • Lead sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ) end to end, including bid analysis, supplier selection, negotiation, and award
  • Build and manage an annual savings pipeline, deliver committed targets, and report progress
  • Identify value beyond price through specification alignment, demand management, payment terms, logistics, and working capital
  • Build and execute engagement plans for key suppliers
  • Run supplier business reviews covering performance, cost, risk, quality, and improvement opportunities
  • Hold suppliers accountable and drive corrective action
  • Maintain approved supplier lists in ERP and plant records
  • Assess and document supply risk and qualify alternate sources
  • Raise supply, pricing, or capacity risks with mitigation plans
  • Negotiate and execute compliant agreements and manage the contract renewal calendar
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval thresholds, and internal controls
  • Manage day-to-day buying, including purchase orders, price and lead-time maintenance, and invoice or delivery issues
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, manufacturing, R&D, and finance on sourcing decisions and financial impact
  • Support new product introductions and specification changes through material sourcing and supplier transitions
  • Partner with facility management, operations, and site leadership to identify savings and reduce operational and supply risk
  • Lead sourcing strategies across maintenance, repairs, janitorial, security, landscaping, utilities, and site services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5 years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Track record of negotiation wins and measurable savings
  • Working knowledge of contracting fundamentals and commercial terms
  • Proficiency with ERP and procurement systems (SAP, Coupa, or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence without authority
  • Preferred: Experience in facility and site services and contract manufacturing
  • Travel: Less than 10%
