About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical marketing support for existing North American products, specifically the ArmorWall Plus product line
  • Respond to customer and distributor inquiries
  • Develop technical content supporting product use and benefits
  • Conduct hands-on product training with customers and distribution partners
  • Conduct field installation training and onsite jobsite observations
  • Participate in new product launches and support sales growth
  • Provide technical expertise on product applications, competitive products, installation guidance, warranty considerations, and product limitations
  • Provide jobsite technical support with distribution partners
  • Support preparation of accurate and consistent product labels and directions for use
  • Develop and ensure accuracy of sales and marketing promotional literature
  • Leverage building envelope product knowledge to meet customer needs
  • Define problems, gather and analyze data, and develop effective solutions
  • Perform laboratory measurements of competitive products
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations
  • Ensure product quality aligns with customer expectations
  • Protect intellectual property, trade secrets, and warranty claims
  • Participate in industry associations
  • Travel domestically 40% of the time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field
  • One (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
  • One (1) year of demonstrated experience providing technical and engineering support related to manufacturer’s products, building codes, and standards
  • One (1) year of demonstrated experience creating technical installation guidelines for new products through hands-on practice and coordination with R&D
  • One (1) year of demonstrated experience analyzing competitive products and creating technical marketing literature
  • Three (3) months of demonstrated experience working in the Build Construction Industry, specifically providing technical support of a manufacturer’s product
  • Three (3) months of demonstrated experience reading and editing construction details to ensure alignment with manufacturer’s requirements
  • Three (3) months of demonstrated experience conducting onsite technical installation training for building construction products
  • Three (3) months of demonstrated experience performing jobsite observations, identifying installation discrepancies, and suggesting repairs aligned with manufacturer’s and building code requirements
