About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data and software requirements, specifications, and user stories
Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing of software applications
Evaluate third-party technologies, tools, and services for integration
Analyze sales and operational metrics
Build dashboards for respective departments
Develop process automation tools
Revise existing automations for continuous improvement
Learn and stay up to date on Salesforce ecosystem developments
Become a subject matter expert on Salesforce
Develop technology and data solutions across Salesforce, Power BI, Heroku, Boomi, and Tableau
Improve customer experience, internal data visibility, and user experience
Develop tools and processes differentiating Dynamic Connections as a leading third-party logistics company

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related years of experience and technical skills
Experience with object-oriented programming, such as Salesforce Apex or Java
Experience with database design concepts
Experience with SOQL, SOSL, and SQL
Strong problem-solving capabilities
Ability to learn new technology quickly
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to update stakeholders on project status
Salesforce experience is an asset but not required
Power BI or DAX experience is an asset
Tableau exposure or knowledge is a nice to have
Experience with data and solving business problems
Experience in the logistics or transportation industry is an asset
