About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build an excellent logistics team and establish standardized, efficient operational systems and processes.
- Improve the cohesion and work enthusiasm of the logistics team.
- Manage and improve logistics supplier capabilities.
- Coordinate logistics suppliers, ensure accurate execution of requirements, and improve supplier cooperation.
- Conduct market intelligence on domestic and international logistics markets.
- Develop supplier sourcing strategies and an optimization roadmap.
- Analyze department KPIs and project operation data.
- Optimize department and project processes, costs, and plans.
- Implement warehouse operation processes and execution standards aligned with business goals.
- Manage inbound and outbound operations and inventory.
- Resolve unexpected problems to ensure timely and sufficient delivery of customer orders.
- Initiate continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in supply chain or international logistics.
- 10+ years of experience in the logistics field, including 2+ years of warehouse management experience and 2+ years of team management experience.
- Experience in process improvement projects.
- A background in the fast-moving consumer goods industry is preferred.
- Good communication and team leadership skills.
- Strong execution, analysis and problem-solving skills; detail focused; process and customer needs-oriented.
- Skilled in identifying problems or improvement points, and able to use “root cause repair thinking” to solve problems or initiate improvement projects.
- Proactive and able to lead the team to initiate project discussions and execute project implementation.
- Good English reading, writing, and oral communication skills.
