About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide leadership and operational oversight for the audit program across assigned Strategic Accounts projects and locations
- Partner with Production, Project Management, QA/QC, Training, and site leadership to develop and execute audit plans supporting project milestones and turnover schedules
- Establish audit operating structures defining responsibilities, workflows, communication expectations, and escalation paths
- Coordinate auditor staffing, resource allocation, and ticket distribution across projects
- Monitor ticket volume, aging, closure rates, productivity, utilization, backlog, and overall audit performance
- Drive timely ticket closeout by setting expectations, monitoring progress, removing roadblocks, and coordinating corrective action
- Develop and maintain audit metrics, dashboards, and leadership reporting
- Identify recurring audit deficiencies and communicate them to QA/QC and Production leadership
- Support First Time Right initiatives by analyzing audit data for repeat failures, installation trends, training gaps, and process improvements
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified auditors with Training and QA/QC leadership
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance to auditors and audit-process personnel
- Standardize audit methods, documentation, classifications, troubleshooting, and closeout expectations across projects
- Verify audit findings, deficiencies, locations, responsible scope, root causes, corrective actions, and resolutions
- Incorporate customer quality requirements, specifications, SOPs, and lessons learned into audit processes
- Participate in project planning, turnover, quality, and operational meetings
- Communicate audit risks, staffing concerns, backlogs, recurring deficiencies, and schedule impacts to leadership
- Support incident reviews, root-cause analysis, corrective-action plans, and lessons learned
- Maintain field presence and verify consistent audit execution across projects and shifts
- Promote collaboration between QA/QC and Production
- Implement process improvements to increase audit efficiency, ticket closure, First Pass Yield, First Time Right performance, and project quality
- Support continuous improvement of audit tools, reporting, workflows, and technology
- Travel between project locations to support audit operations, training, project recovery, customer priorities, and program needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to follow safe work practices and company and client worksite safety policies and procedures
- Ability to coordinate auditor staffing and resource allocation based on project priorities, workload, schedule, ticket volume, and auditor competency
- Ability to monitor ticket volume, aging, closure rates, productivity, and audit performance
- Ability to develop and maintain audit performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting
- Ability to establish performance expectations for auditors, including productivity, accuracy, documentation quality, and ticket closure
- Ability to identify audit trends, recurring deficiencies, root causes, corrective actions, and process-improvement opportunities
- Ability to support auditor qualification requirements, competency assessments, field verification, mentoring, and ongoing development
- Ability to verify technical knowledge and field competency before auditors work independently
- Ability to standardize audit methods, documentation requirements, ticket classifications, troubleshooting practices, and closeout expectations
- Ability to ensure audit documentation is accurate, complete, professional, and compliant with company and customer requirements
- Ability to travel between project locations as required
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands and arms, communicate verbally, stoop, kneel, work in tight or confined spaces, and regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet
- Ability to operate scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs if required
