About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Follow safe work practices and company and client worksite safety policies and procedures
  • Establish and lead a standardized logistics program across hyperscale sites
  • Develop scalable logistics strategies for multi-region, multi-client growth
  • Lead Regional Logistics Managers and ensure consistency in execution, reporting, and performance
  • Manage the full lifecycle of materials, including forecasting, procurement coordination, delivery scheduling, receiving, verification, storage, staging, and distribution
  • Implement standardized material tracking, transmittal, delivery documentation, chain-of-custody, and accountability processes
  • Align material readiness with project schedules and prevent installation delays
  • Manage damaged, defective, and non-conforming materials
  • Lead RMA processes through timely resolution
  • Liaise with manufacturers, distributors, and vendors to expedite replacements or credits and resolve warranty and quality issues
  • Coordinate material substitutions with engineering, QA, and field teams
  • Communicate material issues, impacts, replacement timelines, substitutions, and execution plans to clients, field teams, and leadership
  • Track and report RMA cycle times, damage trends, substitution impacts, material readiness, delivery performance, and inventory variances
  • Identify root causes of material damage or failure and implement preventative measures
  • Define roles and responsibilities for site logistics personnel
  • Ensure organized, labeled, auditable, safe, and efficient material storage and accurate inventory records
  • Standardize receiving, staging, kitting, and delivery-to-install workflows
  • Conduct regular site audits
  • Develop and maintain centralized tracking systems for material status, delivery schedules, constraints, and inventory
  • Ensure consistent use of Smartsheet, Excel, ACC, or similar platforms
  • Oversee delivery vendors, freight providers, distributors, and manufacturers
  • Evaluate and implement regional warehouse strategies
  • Support contract negotiations focused on cost efficiency, reliability, and scalability
  • Integrate logistics with project schedules, installation readiness, risk identification, and mitigation
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop logistics teams across regions
  • Establish performance metrics, accountability structures, leadership development, and succession planning
  • Promote safe material handling, storage, and transportation
  • Travel to support site operations and program alignment, 20%–50% of the time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or equivalent experience
  • OSHA 10 required
  • OSHA 30 preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in logistics management, ideally within hyperscale data center settings
  • Proficient leadership capabilities, adept at fostering and guiding top-tier teams
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal proficiencies
  • Track record in warehouse site selection and vendor oversight
  • Well-versed in industry standards and forthcoming logistics trends
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and collaborative skills
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to add value both independently and as a team member
