Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and ensure effective execution of strategic programs and projects in alignment with deliverables
  • Create and implement policies, procedures, processes, best practices, templates, and tools for effective program execution
  • Drive, monitor, and manage technology-intensive product execution on time and within budget
  • Monitor project performance against targets, anticipate problems, identify solutions, and engage teams to implement them
  • Lead and manage a highly engaged, high-performance team
  • Build a team of practitioners aligned with organizational values and methods
  • Develop roles, responsibilities, processes, and procedures from initial ideation through in-market realization
  • Manage interrelated project workstreams to support strategic business objectives
  • Report project results, metrics, tests, deployment activities, milestones, success criteria, deliverables, dependencies, and risks
  • Challenge partners to define realistic schedules and ensure deliverable owners meet committed outcomes
  • Engage external partners to assess schedules and constraints and integrate impacts and dependencies into planning
  • Evaluate resource capacity and constraints, build resource models, prepare estimates and detailed project plans
  • Communicate program progress updates to executive leadership and cross-functional workstream leads
  • Proactively mitigate issues and risks and resolve problems analytically and creatively
  • Support the company’s risk management and protection of systems and data integrity and confidentiality

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Program Management and/or Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in financial institutions or similarly regulated industries and/or software development processes, including systems build and run phases of the product lifecycle
  • Minimum of 15 or more years of program/project management experience
  • Proven people leadership experience in matrixed business and technical environments
  • Prior experience related to product launch or large-scale technical product coordination
  • Experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Proactive process improvement experience
  • Experience coaching and mentoring others within a PMO team
  • Ability to lead and coach program/project managers in successful framework delivery
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience with all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology and tools
  • Proven experience with modern B2B SaaS software development and product launch motions, including sales, marketing, legal/compliance, operational readiness, and customer engagement
  • Background and drug screen
  • Eligibility to work in the United States for any employer at the date of hire
  • Must not require employment Visa sponsorship
