About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage multiple interrelated project workstreams aligned with strategic business objectives
  • Report on project results, metrics, testing, and deployment management activities
  • Establish best practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships
  • Coach team members on policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Lead and motivate project teams to meet critical milestones
  • Prepare estimates, detailed project plans, status reports, milestones, success criteria, deliverables, dependencies, and risks for stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues
  • Own end-to-end delivery of strategic mobile payment projects, including Tap-to-Pay via NFC, in-app card provisioning, mobile SDKs, biometric authentication, and wallet top-ups
  • Create project plans focused on native iOS/Android delivery
  • Drive rollouts of EMV tokenization, 3DS2, PCI DSS controls, and new payment method integrations
  • Coordinate product managers, engineering leads, designers, QA, compliance, fraud, business stakeholders, card networks, PSPs, OEMs, and certification bodies
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and steering committees
  • Track delivery using agile and hybrid methodologies and maintain program dashboards and RAID logs
  • Provide senior leadership updates and resolve delivery risks
  • Track delivery KPIs including velocity, scope changes, and burn rate
  • Partner with Legal, Security, and Compliance on regulatory requirements including PSD2, GDPR, PCI, and FFIEC
  • Manage go-live readiness, including QA signoff, performance validation, incident response preparation, and rollback planning
  • Support the company’s risk management commitment and protect system and data integrity and confidentiality

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management and/or Computer Science or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Minimum of 8 or more years of progressive related experience managing large complex projects or programs
  • Experience in financial institutions or similarly regulatory industries and/or software development processes
  • Background in data processing, application systems, and communication systems
  • Ability to coach and mentor others within an ePMO team environment
  • Experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams on complex projects simultaneously
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to identify and drive process improvements
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology and tools
  • Background and drug screen
  • Ability to perform essential functions and physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Preferred: Agile / ScrumMaster certifications
  • Preferred: Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Preferred: demonstrated people leadership in business and technical environments
  • Must independently possess eligibility to work in the United States for any employer at the date of hire
