About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work in specialist Occupational Therapy clinics and in the community visiting people at home
- Assess, manage risk, and provide reablement for adults and carers in line with the Care Act 2014
- Support residents to live safely and independently within their own homes
- Work across agencies and strengthen partnerships, particularly with health services
- Participate in a learning environment focused on continual professional development
- Attend an in-person interview at Charter Centre, Bexhill within three weeks of the closing date
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to plan and organise a varied workload for self and others, working to short deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people in a clear, concise and accurate manner, changing messages to suit different audiences
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team and develop professional relationships across teams and services to achieve shared aims
- Ability to use technology as part of the role, including Microsoft 365, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and laptops
- Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Service
- Evidence of an overseas police check if the candidate has lived or worked abroad
- Candidates requiring UK work sponsorship must meet sponsorship eligibility requirements
