About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support administration of Property Service Hub team workflows
  • Manage and coordinate queries from internal and external customers across property services
  • Liaise with contractors, customers, internal teams and external service providers
  • Accurately log and allocate work requests to the appropriate team or contractor
  • Keep customers informed about request progress
  • Support the Asset Management and Performance Team in improving council property assets and premises operations
  • Maintain and facilitate property information, policy and stakeholder collaboration

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Customer service skills
  • Competent and accurate computer skills
  • Ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English
  • Ability to work on own initiative and problem solve
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in database systems
  • Ability to plan and organise a varied workload, occasionally working to short deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of property and building maintenance useful, but full training provided
  • If sponsorship is required, eligibility to work in the UK must be checked
