Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Social work qualifications and registration with the professional regulatory body
  • Successfully completed Assessed and Supported Year in Employment, or equivalent if prior to 2012 (NQSW year and academic module)
  • Experience completing assessments, using legal frameworks, and creating care plans
  • Good knowledge of psychological development, systemic approaches, and interventions
  • Understanding of forms of harm, their impact, and implications for practice, drawing on attachment, loss, resilience, vulnerability, risk, and resistance
  • Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity
  • Evidence of an overseas police check if lived or worked abroad
  • Ability to meet the travel requirements of the role
