Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a high-activity field sales team bringing venues onto EatClub’s platform
  • Set team direction, pace, priorities, and execution standards
  • Personally own a high-value revenue target and remain accountable for monthly results
  • Coach Business Development Managers through pitches, objections, venue meetings, drop-ins, and live customer conversations
  • Review pipeline and activity in HubSpot and run team stand-ups
  • Conduct structured one-on-ones and call reviews
  • Collaborate with global leadership, Revenue, Marketing, and RevOps on local market strategies
  • Share venue feedback about pricing, objections, and competitive dynamics
  • Travel across surrounding New Zealand areas to support launches in new markets
  • Improve CRM data accuracy, pipeline hygiene, visibility, and conversion metrics
  • Monitor outbound outreach, follow-ups, daily CRM input, and team activity standards
  • Track weekly and monthly sales/revenue targets, report shortfalls, and course-correct
  • Build relationships with venue owners and operators across New Zealand
  • Launch EatClub in new New Zealand areas by building venue pipelines and securing restaurant partners
  • Refine outreach messaging, objection handling, and deal progression strategies
  • Hire, onboard, and ramp new Business Development Managers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Over the last 2-3 years led a high-activity field sales team with clear activity and revenue targets
  • Managed 5+ sales reps and helped them consistently hit performance goals, including carrying and delivering a high-value team sales/revenue target
  • Worked in high-velocity sales environments
  • Strong experience managing pipeline, CRM accuracy, and conversion metrics
  • Personally and directly inputting activity into a CRM (e.g. HubSpot) rather than relying solely on reps to log it
  • Confidence coaching sales reps in real customer conversations, not just through dashboards
  • Hospitality, food tech, SaaS, or marketplace experience is advantageous
  • Strong network within the hospitality industry is advantageous
  • Track record of supporting new city or market launches is advantageous
  • Hands-on leadership and leading by example in the field
  • Structured and methodical approach to team activity, pipeline management, and execution standards
  • Comfortable maintaining and demanding a strong results orientation
  • Coaching and mentoring ability
  • Customer-focused approach with venue owners
  • Ownership-driven approach to identifying and executing market-growth strategies
