About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the global CDU revenue plan and execute the sales strategy to carry the business past $1B
  • Convert the segment strategic plan into a commercial operating plan by region, customer, and platform
  • Build the multi-year pipeline across hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and OEM channels
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reporting processes
  • Protect gross margin through disciplined quoting, repricing, price increases, claim recovery, and working capital improvement
  • Build executive-level relationships with hyperscale and colocation operators, data center OEMs, integrators, and engineering and construction firms
  • Negotiate long-term agreements, capacity commitments, and commercial terms
  • Identify new business opportunities, adjacent applications, geographies, and channel models
  • Lead strategic alliances with chip, server, and rack ecosystem partners
  • Translate customer requirements and feedback into product, pricing, and roadmap decisions
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and supply chain on capacity, footprint expansion, and launch readiness
  • Establish forecasting discipline, S&OP participation, and demand visibility
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, program management, and customer service
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a global sales organization
  • Build organizational capability through talent development, recruiting, and scalable territory, quota, and incentive structures
  • Institutionalize CRM discipline, opportunity management, and win/loss review
  • Support Boyd's integration into Eaton by adopting Eaton business system processes, governance, and leadership standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, marketing, or a related discipline is required
  • Minimum of fifteen years of experience in sales and commercial leadership roles within a multi-national, matrixed manufacturing organization
  • Proven track record of success
  • Demonstrated ownership of a global revenue number of $500M or greater, including responsibility for gross margin performance and pricing
  • Experience scaling a business through rapid growth while matching commercial commitments to manufacturing capacity and footprint expansion
  • Experience leading front-end customer negotiations and long-term agreements with hyperscale or cloud operators, colocation providers, or large OEMs
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, including market analysis, segmentation, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Fluency in CRM and sales management tools
  • Ability to travel as needed, including internationally
  • Direct experience selling liquid cooling, thermal management, power, or critical infrastructure into data center end markets preferred
  • Working knowledge of CDU technology and the broader liquid cooling stack preferred
  • Experience building a commercial organization in a business that doubled or more preferred
  • Experience operating inside a large industrial parent company or through a post-acquisition integration preferred
