Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the end-to-end design process from research to final delivery
  • Ensure Merchant Experience products meet the needs of global partners
  • Plan and conduct user research, including interviews, usability tests, surveys, and workshops
  • Use AI tools such as Claude to synthesize research, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights
  • Analyze product metrics and quantitative data to support discovery and design decisions
  • Structure problems and explore solutions through sketches, user flows, journey maps, service blueprints, and prototypes
  • Evaluate alternatives, validate hypotheses, and balance user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility
  • Create rapid prototypes using Figma and lightweight solutions
  • Use AI and automation to streamline workflows and develop reusable frameworks and guidelines
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders
  • Facilitate discussions, communicate design decisions, and align teams around solutions
  • Own design initiatives, evaluate outcomes, and identify continuous improvement opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience in Product Design with strong UX and craft skills for desktop and mobile web environments
  • Ability to interpret product metrics and quantitative data
  • Experience owning end-to-end design processes from discovery and problem definition to delivery and validation
  • Ability to structure problems, explore solutions, and make informed design decisions balancing user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility
  • Experience planning and conducting user research, including customer interviews and usability testing
  • Experience using Figma, prototyping tools, and reusable design frameworks
  • Ability to use AI to create consistent and scalable solutions
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate design decisions clearly
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools such as Claude
  • Great communication skills in English and Portuguese
  • Previous experience in payments, fintech, or e-commerce is a plus
  • Experience with Service Design methodologies, journey mapping, and service blueprints is a plus
  • Startup or fast-paced product environment experience is a plus
  • DesignOps experience is a plus
  • Experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude is a plus
  • Familiarity with Shadcn UI, React, and Tailwind CSS is a plus
  • Good communication skills in Spanish is a plus
