About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and supervise installation and qualification technicians and engineers at the customer site
- Coordinate installation, qualification and warranty-repair activities through handover of fully functional systems
- Plan team schedules, manage time-off requests and address staffing gaps
- Monitor project progress, milestones and team KPIs; recommend corrective actions
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete and submitted on time
- Respond to customer issues and escalations with Account Team and internal teams
- Oversee team safety and ensure EHS requirements and training are maintained
- Monitor staffing forecasts and support customer discussions about contracted headcount
- Contribute to field-service processes and oversee implementation
- Act as product-level expert for tool-down escalations
- Manage site-level field service budgets, expenses and P&L performance
- Support training and development of direct reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years' experience in system service, project management, field service, assembly or operations in the semiconductor industry
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
- Experience in team building and change management
- Analytical, structured and process-oriented approach
- Basic knowledge of quality management and EHS
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Resilient and energetic
- Willing to travel 10-25% of the time
