About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own overall marketing strategy and annual planning aligned with company revenue, budgets, and growth objectives
  • Manage marketing P&L and budget allocation across paid, owned, and earned channels
  • Drive data-driven decision-making through marketing attribution, customer analytics, and performance modeling
  • Present marketing performance, insights, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders
  • Identify and execute strategic growth opportunities across channels, partnerships, activations, and customer segments
  • Own customer acquisition strategy across paid media, SEO, email, SMS, and other channels
  • Create content briefs and optimize storytelling, community growth, and campaign performance
  • Drive continual SEO and AI content optimization
  • Manage paid media budgets and optimize spend based on channel performance and attribution modeling
  • Manage creator and influencer programs, including partner identification, contract negotiation, campaign briefs, and performance tracking
  • Develop marketing partnerships with Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Universal Orlando, and other theme park partners
  • Negotiate marketing collaborations, content partnerships, and joint promotional opportunities
  • Serve as business lead and creator liaison at 6–8 creator activations annually, including travel to California and Florida
  • Explore and implement AI-driven tools for content production, campaign performance, and customer engagement
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing organization
  • Manage agency, freelancer, and strategic creator partner relationships
  • Establish team goals, KPIs, and accountability frameworks; conduct performance reviews and development planning
  • Foster experimentation, data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and customer focus
  • Oversee brand strategy and content roadmap for Undercover Tourist
  • Craft differentiated messaging and positioning and conduct competitive analysis
  • Ensure brand consistency and customer experience across web, email, social, paid, events, and partner channels
  • Own the marketing technology stack, including content administration, SMS, GA4, attribution, automation, and AI-powered tools
  • Evaluate and adopt martech solutions to improve efficiency and campaign performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success owning marketing strategy, budget, and P&L in a direct-to-consumer and e-commerce environment
  • Performance marketing expertise across paid social (Meta, TikTok, YouTube), SEO, email, and SMS
  • Hands-on experience managing large-scale media budgets and optimizing for CPA and ROAS
  • Experience building and managing creator and influencer programs, including partner identification, contract negotiation, campaign management, and ROI measurement
  • Strong brand and content strategy skills
  • Ability to lead, develop, and inspire marketing teams
  • Experience managing co-op marketing partnerships and negotiating joint promotional opportunities
  • Advanced analytical capability with marketing attribution modeling, GA4, customer analytics, and performance reporting
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Passion for travel and family experiences; enthusiasm for theme parks
  • Strong preference to physically be in Austin, TX
