About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, cash management, and financial analysis
Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and provide actionable insights to leadership
Strengthen cash forecasting, working capital visibility, and overall financial discipline
Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting and finance team
Improve accounting systems, reporting, automation, and scalable processes
Partner with Sales, Operations, HR, and other teams to support business decision-making
Develop and maintain strong financial controls, policies, and procedures
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and operational effectiveness
Support integration of acquisitions and development of repeatable financial processes
Provide oversight and guidance across broader shared-service functions as needed
Remain hands-on with accounting and finance activities while balancing strategic leadership responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required
Progressive finance leadership experience as a Controller, Director of Finance, VP of Finance, or similar role
Strong accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and cash management experience
Experience building, developing, or improving finance teams and processes
Strong systems and technology orientation with experience implementing automation and process improvements
Experience in a growing, entrepreneurial, or mid-sized organization preferred
Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Acquisition or integration experience preferred
Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP/accounting systems preferred
Hands-on, proactive leadership style with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
