About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review order details and calculate royalties due for assigned business lines
  • Manage monthly and quarterly reporting and payment processes
  • Reconcile monthly and quarterly reports with publishers as requested
  • Collaborate with internal departments to analyze and resolve data and royalty errors
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and create journal entries
  • Assist with establishing and/or updating publisher payment accounts with the Vendor Management Team
  • Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with publishers
  • Assist with technology initiatives to improve royalty processing and internal workflows
  • Manage the full royalty cycle for an assigned group of publishers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business studies/accounting
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance-based role
  • Intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access databases
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and customer-focused approach
  • Strong communication skills
