About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create reports for internal and external use, including daily performance, weekly placement by performance, and monthly reports
  • Act as a resource for staff and external agencies regarding updates
  • Research and review account issues
  • Research rehabilitation balance discrepancies
  • Respond to telephone calls, voicemails, emails, and written correspondence from external agencies
  • Assist external agencies in the Direct Loan Consolidation process
  • Manage balance discrepancy reports and work with lenders for additional funding on rehabilitation accounts
  • Manage relationships with external collection agencies
  • Track, research, and resolve agency-related issues
  • Comply with all ECMC Group policies
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Data entry experience
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of the student loan industry (preferred)
  • Post-secondary degree (preferred)
