About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute integrated email, lead-nurturing, social media, and digital marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives and target audiences
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements to increase awareness, engagement, website traffic, lead generation, and qualified sales opportunities
  • Create clear, compelling, and brand-aligned content for websites, newsletters, blogs, social media, webinars, presentations, promotional materials, customer stories, case studies, and thought leadership initiatives
  • Leverage AI tools to support content development, automate outreach efforts, and improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Coordinate planning, promotion, registration, logistics, materials, presentations, and follow-up for webinars, virtual events, customer meetings, conferences, and trade shows
  • Partner with sales and internal stakeholders to identify target audiences, generate and qualify leads, track opportunities, and support pipeline development
  • Develop sales enablement materials, including customer presentations, demonstrations, proposals, one-pagers, brochures, case studies, flyers, and follow-up communications
  • Research higher education and EdTech markets, competitor activity, industry trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities
  • Translate market and competitive intelligence into actionable recommendations supporting strategic planning, campaign development, and sales efforts
  • Maintain accurate lead, prospect, contact, and campaign data in CRM and marketing systems
  • Communicate marketing and sales-enablement results through reports, dashboards, and presentations
  • Support customer acquisition and institutional engagement for solutions focused on student success, financial wellness, career readiness, and student loan repayment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Sales, Public Relations, or a related field; or an additional two years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years of professional experience in marketing, sales support, business development, communications, or a related field
  • Experience creating marketing content, campaigns, presentations, and customer-facing communications across multiple channels
  • Experience coordinating projects, events, or marketing initiatives with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using CRM, marketing automation, and digital marketing platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders while supporting multiple projects and initiatives
  • Preferred: Experience in higher education, EdTech, student services, workforce development, financial aid, or a related industry
  • Preferred: Experience supporting lead generation, sales development, business development, or integrated marketing campaigns
  • Preferred: Basic graphic design skills / experience using Canva or AI design tools
  • Preferred: Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform and marketing automation tools
  • Preferred: Experience planning and supporting webinars, conferences, trade shows, and other customer-facing events, including the use of AI tools to enhance marketing effectiveness
