About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform on-site and/or remote installations of CoolIT direct liquid cooling products
  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on direct liquid cooling systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Provide technical support to on-site technicians serving ASPs or end users, including Tier 3 and 4 data centers
  • Provide plumbing and HVAC consultation to internal teams
  • Develop subject matter expertise in CoolIT’s product portfolio
  • Deliver training to customers, service technicians, and internal staff in person or remotely
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues according to established service processes
  • Coordinate with Authorized Service Providers as needed
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
  • Complete service documentation, reports, and system testing records
  • Coordinate and dispatch field service visits with end users and Authorized Service Providers
  • Travel internationally up to 65%, subject to restrictions
  • Report to the Manager, Field Service Ops

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Service Specialist or equivalent technical role
  • Solid understanding of project workflows and ability to manage aspects of projects
  • Red Seal/Journeyman Certification in pipe trades preferred, with solid expertise in hydronics
  • Strong knowledge of technical cooling system loops and various loop configurations
  • Mission-critical environment experience required
  • Proficiency with pipe materials and joining methods, including plastic fusion and Victaulic piping
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Valid driver’s license with a clear abstract
  • Valid passport and eligibility for international travel and security checks
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 150 lbs between two people
  • Suitable home setup for remote work
  • Ability to understand control systems integration and interest in high-level programming logic preferred
  • Experience with FSM software platforms such as NetSuite and SAP preferred
  • Background in mechanical/electrical systems preferred
  • Successful candidates must undergo background checks, including criminal record checks and education verification
