About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market, including aligned and centralized customers
Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems
Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and planned and unplanned work orders
Evaluate account conditions during each visit and proactively help customers meet Ecolab Brand Standards
Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a fully stocked vehicle and support first-time fix performance
Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed
Communicate Ecolab’s total value to customers and strengthen customer relationships
Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness and deliver a consistent customer experience
Travel to San Francisco, Fairfield, Napa, Petaluma, San Rafael, Santa Rosa, Vallejo, Daly City, Fremont, Hayward, San Jose, San Mateo, Sunnyvale, Tracy, Antioch, Berkeley, Concord, Livermore, Oakland, Richmond, CA, and surrounding areas
Work Wednesday–Saturday or Sunday–Wednesday on 10-hour shifts between 10am–10pm local time

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years of service-related experience, such as maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing equipment
Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions
No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position
Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lift 75 lbs
Ability to push/pull
Ability to stand, bend, and stoop
Ability to work in confined spaces
Ability to distinguish color; tools may be accommodated
Ability to drive a company vehicle as required
Preferred: Associate’s degree or other advanced education or certifications
Preferred: Mechanical problem-solving experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or equipment repair, particularly in foodservice, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, long-term care, and/or pool and spa industries
May need to undergo additional background screens and/or drug/alcohol testing for customer credentialing
