About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market
  • Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems
  • Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and planned and unplanned work orders
  • Evaluate account conditions and proactively help customers meet Ecolab Brand Standards
  • Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a fully stocked vehicle and support first-time fix performance
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed
  • Communicate Ecolab’s total value to customers and strengthen customer relationships
  • Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness and deliver a consistent customer experience
  • Travel to customer locations and surrounding areas in the Sacramento, Roseville, Woodland, Elk Grove, Modesto, Stockton, Folsom, Davis, and Vacaville market
  • Work Wednesday–Saturday or Sunday–Wednesday on 10-hour shifts between 10am–10pm local time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of service-related experience, such as maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing equipment
  • Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions
  • No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position
  • Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance, including at night, on weekends, and over holidays
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs
  • Ability to push/pull
  • Ability to stand, bend, and stoop
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to distinguish color (tools may be accommodated)
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle as required
  • Preferred: Associate’s degree or other advanced education or certifications
  • Preferred: Previous mechanical problem-solving experience, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or equipment repair, in related industries
