About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in a 5-week paid training program covering pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques
Establish working relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice
Partner with customers to identify and solve pest elimination needs
Maintain expertise in Ecolab’s products and services to enhance service and sales
Use handheld computerized equipment to document structural, sanitation, and pest issues
Deliver timely, cost-effective, high-quality service under close supervision
Obtain required pest control licensing and/or certification as mandated by state/local law
Work independently in a flexible, field-based environment
Protect customer brands and public health through science-based pest solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of work or military experience
Current and valid unrestricted Driver’s License
Availability to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends as needed
Must be 18 years of age or older
Obtain pest certification and/or business licensing pursuant to state/local law
Pass a background check
Pass a drug test including THC
Immigration sponsorship is not available
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds chest high
Ability to wear and use a respirator
Ability to work in confined spaces, damp/dusty areas, and extreme temperatures
Ability to climb ladders and perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and standing for extended periods
Ability to drive a company vehicle; ongoing motor vehicle record checks required
Previous customer service experience preferred
Experience selling value-added products to existing customers preferred
Previous pest elimination industry or route experience preferred
