About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support financial and operational performance and strategic business decisions for manufacturing sites
  • Provide supply chain finance leadership to a North America plant
  • Drive monthly closing, ad hoc reporting and analytics, monthly forecasts, and annual budgets
  • Use reporting and forecasting tools to provide insights and improve process efficiency
  • Prepare cost accounting analysis and maintain internal financial controls compliant with SOX
  • Lead annual standard costing updates for the site
  • Identify savings opportunities and return on investment; improve processes through automation and redesign
  • Partner with Supply Chain teams across North America
  • Support capital investments and evaluate returns on investment
  • Build a TPM Loss reduction culture and financial accountability
  • Act as a Financial Business Partner to the plant manager and plant leadership
  • Drive local tools and analytics to identify cost improvement opportunities and translate projects financially
  • Ensure adherence to SOX, GAAP, and Corporate Policy
  • Manage operational accounting procedures, including G/L maintenance, accruals, expense charge-offs, journal entries, payroll processing, capital equipment authorization, asset management, and inventory control/reconciliations
  • Lead standard work and process development across the North America network to simplify and improve efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in finance and/or accounting
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role
  • Preferred: MBA, CPA, or CMA
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in cost accounting
  • Proficiency in SAP, PowerBI, Hyperion, and Blackline
  • TPM/Lean/Six Sigma knowledge and Green or Black Belt certification
  • Strong change management skills and leadership capability
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts and practices
  • Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance, influence management, and lead change
  • Demonstrated history of process improvement, project management, and critical thinking
  • Agility in learning and operating in system/data environments
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to undergo additional background screens and/or drug/alcohol testing if required for customer credentialing
