About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate and execute sales plans in existing customer accounts and assigned competitively-held accounts to meet profit increase goals
  • Understand customer business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including plant or facility executives
  • Provide technical support and resolve customer challenges, escalating as required
  • Perform system analysis, interpret data, and provide written recommendations
  • Sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology
  • Manage a territory covering approximately a 100-mile radius around Miami
  • Support customers in institutional industries
  • Travel overnight less than 25% of the time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Technical sales or field sales support experience
  • Current and valid driver's license
  • Must reside within a commutable distance from Miami, FL
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must undergo additional background screens and/or drug/alcohol testing if required for customer credentialing
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)
