About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Install and maintain equipment and collateral
  • Complete food safety audits according to customer-required visit frequency
  • Evaluate departments for compliance
  • Facilitate sales of Ecolab products by suggesting improvements and new innovations
  • Train customers on Ecolab products and services
  • Maintain positive customer relationships by evaluating needs and identifying sales opportunities
  • Manage a territory of customers
  • Grow sales through service excellence and new product introductions
  • Drive and/or fly to client locations as needed
  • Provide emergency call assistance when required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4 years of outside sales or industry related (foodservice, hospitality, etc.) experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions
  • Availability to provide emergency call assistance at night, on weekends, and over holidays
  • No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Proper documentation to fly, such as a Real ID or other acceptable form of identification
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, damp/dusty areas, and extreme temperatures
  • Ability to climb ladders and perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and extended standing
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Mechanical experience (plumbing, electrical) and equipment troubleshooting and repair experience preferred
  • Food safety knowledge/experience or CP-FS certification preferred
  • Military experience preferred
  • Previous business-to-business sales experience preferred
