About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Install and maintain equipment and collateral
  • Complete food safety audits based on customer-required visit frequency
  • Evaluate departments for compliance
  • Facilitate sales of Ecolab products through improvement suggestions and new product introductions
  • Train customers on Ecolab products and services
  • Maintain positive customer relationships by evaluating needs and identifying sales opportunities
  • Manage a territory of customers and grow sales through service excellence
  • Identify food safety risks and help prevent foodborne illnesses
  • Provide hands-on training and audits
  • Travel to client locations and surrounding areas
  • Provide weekend coverage once every 12 weeks and emergency call assistance as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4 years of outside sales or industry related (foodservice, hospitality, etc.) experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions
  • Availability to provide emergency call assistance at night, on weekends and over holidays
  • No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Proper documentation to fly, such as a Real ID or other acceptable form of identification
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, damp/dusty areas, and extreme temperatures
  • Ability to climb ladders and perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and standing for extended periods
