About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute the organization’s employee engagement strategy across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding
- Draw insights from internal and external data to recommend strategies, create narratives, and own insights and action plans
- Advocate, champion, and advise employees at all levels on engagement-related topics
- Partner with HR to embed inclusion and belonging into the organizational culture
- Design and deliver education to drive greater inclusion, understanding, and belonging
- Establish and nurture relationships with local organizations, educational institutions, and advocacy groups
- Lead all HR internal communications, including well-being, performance management, culture and engagement surveys, and special projects
- Create, execute, and sustain an annual engagement calendar covering diverse topics and well-being events
- Lead the employee engagement survey strategy, including Gallup Q12 and Great Place to Work surveys
- Manage survey administration, implementation timelines, results analysis, leadership presentations, and action planning
- Lead or participate in projects that positively impact the employee workplace experience
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational behavior, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years’ relevant human resources experience, preferably working in a HR Business Partner capacity
- 2+ years’ experience in developing, implementing and administering engagement and inclusion strategies and programs
- Strong knowledge of employee engagement strategies and employee experience leading practices
- Highly effective critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional EQ, blended with an analytic approach and skill in leveraging data to drive decisions and narratives
- Strong leadership skills, including coaching, change management, and project management skills
- Self-starter, ability to identify and execute projects and initiatives to impact the culture and engagement of the complete employee lifecycle
- Capable and eager to execute both strategically and tactically
- Advanced skills in MS Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel as required, including willingness to attend community events, which may take place outside of traditional working hours
