About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, support, and document applications, tools, integrations, and related databases
Create ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Build reporting solutions using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Prepare and analyze data, including profiling, cleansing, extracting, mapping, importing, transforming, validating, and modeling
Assist database and software developers in building optimized databases
Write optimized SQL queries and stored procedures for application integrations
Develop reports, KPIs, and dashboards to support decision-making
Analyze client needs and define effective technical solutions
Assist in enforcing data validation rules and supporting data governance policies
Develop full-stack web applications using C#/.NET, React, and other JavaScript frameworks
Assume additional responsibilities supporting the continued growth and advancement of the Credit Union

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
Experience with SSIS and SSRS is required
1+ years’ experience developing solutions using Microsoft SQL Server is required
1+ years’ experience in C#/.NET web-based development is required
Experience with SQL and approaches to designing and using relational databases
Web Services and API experience required
Familiarity with application security and defensive coding skills required
Client-side web technologies: CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Ajax; React is a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure is preferred
Knowledge of ServiceNow, TFS, Azure DevOps is preferred
Strong aptitude for creativity, mathematics, and logic
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated adaptability and self-motivation for continuous learning
Basic understanding of data governance principles and best practices
Candidates must reside in the South Bend-Mishawaka region or Greater Indianapolis region
